There is a close, convenient car park at Viewfield House. £5 parking charge, but the Games can then be watched free. 4 - How do I enter or get information about the Nairn Half Marathon? The nearest cash machine is at the Co-op on Nairn High Street (6 mins walk from the car park). 6 - What food and drink options are available at Nairn Highland Games? Nairn Links is bustling with food stalls and a pop up bar on Games Day, and there are neighbouring pubs, restaurants and all the food of the fairground. |
14 - Can I bring my dog to Nairn Highland Games?
Yes, you can bring your dog (or even your Wookie) along to Nairn Highland Games. It is important to note: – there will be large numbers attending – the starters pistol for track events is very loud and may disturb them – all owners must keep their dog under control at all times. – you are responsible for picking up your dog’s mess so bring bags and dispose of responsibly. 15 - Can I bring my own chair to sit on, outside the arena? Yes, please do bring your own chair or rug to sit on. There is no seating provided outside the arena. 16 - What clothes and footwear are suitable at Nairn Games? Well – we are an outdoor event in the North of Scotland – so check the weather and plan accordingly. 17 - What else should I bring? Bring your friends and family.
