"On the day" volunteers
There are many tasks that we would love some assistance with.
We need collectors, to take the donations buckets around the crowds at regular intervals, and car park marshals to help run the car park at Viewfield. We need stewards and ticket box attendants at the field itself, and of course general help and assistance.
If catering is your thing then we have groups looking after the food in the pavilion, for helpers, judges and officials, and they would be delighted to receive an offer of help.
What’s in it for you?
Volunteering is a great way to improve your own skillset so you will benefit, as well as the community. We’ve seen our helpers gain confidence; meet people; feel part of a wider community; make a difference to many; learn new skills; take on a challenge; help Nairn; and have fun!
As one of the team you can also expect:
A light meal or snack during the event (depending on your timings); a promise that you’ll only be asked to do your choice of tasks; and of course we’ll try to ensure that you’re not stuck on the same duty all day.
